Microsoft has released a patch that is causing mouse and keyboard failures in various Windows 10 computers. This issue appears to only be resolved by removing Windows Update KB 4074588. The tricky part is removing it without a working mouse or keyboard!
The way to do this is to remote into the device using a remote access software or RDP and roll that patch back. You can get some more information on this patch by clicking the links below. These are articles that we found about the issue.
Palmer Technology Solutions has removed this Update from Proactive Monitoring and Maintenance automatic updates in response to this until Microsoft releases a fix for it.
